Agri-Food & Climate Circle

The Agri-Food & Climate Circle seeks to unite everybody in the international agri-food industry in the strive to reduce the climate footprint. The event will consist of two days of knowledge exchange and networking with international experts, companies, and colleagues who support the green transition.

Climate is high on the agenda all over the world. Across the agri-food industry, scientists, experts, and companies are working hard to identify pathways combining new knowledge, technologies, and strategies throughout the production chain to lower climate footprint while meeting market demands.

In Denmark, we are committed to pushing this development by leading the way in sharing and implementing knowledge from science and research practice. To this end, we aim to facilitate cooperation between agricultural and food scientists, advisers, and processing companies. To support the move from vision to action, the Danish Agriculture Innovation Center (SEGES) in collaboration with other leading Danish universities and companies invite researchers, experts, and decision-makers to the new annual climate conference in Copenhagen: Agri-Food & Climate Circle 2023.

Agenda

The two-day conference program covers seven topics and combines presentations with panel discussions and debates which creates science and business-based interactions. Find the preliminary program here – the final program is to be confirmed.

Facts about the Insight Report

The analysis is based on a quantitative analysis carried out by Epinion for Food Nation in March 2022. The analysis examines Denmark’s image as an agricultural and food nation among international decision-makers. All respondents are in the food and agriculture sector, as either producers, buyers, sellers or in the processing of food products and solutions. The analysis is thus B2B oriented.

This year’s survey involved a total of 803 decision-makers in four of Denmark’s central export markets: UK, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam. The study covers topics such as food safety, health, and sustainability. The target group for the image analysis is Danish export-ready and exporting companies and other players within the food cluster who are interested in the results of the analysis.
