Daka Denmark A/S

Turning agricultural waste into biodiesel

Thanks to Daka Denmark A/S, agricultural waste and bi-products are turned into new products.

Daka receives waste products that slaughter houses cannot sell through retail, such as blood, ground bones and fat. Daka then uses all these ingredients to produce products for the feed industry and for biodiesel. At Daka Denmark A/S, all residual products are used.

Biodiesel produced by Daka emits 85% less carbon than conventional diesel.

Daka uses all these ingredients to produce products for the feed industry and for biodiesel.

Another business area for Daka, is the collection of waste products from restaurants and supermarkets, which they then use to create biodiesel.

Symbolising Denmark’s solutions of tomorrow

Daka Denmark A/S is an example of how several companies in Denmark lead the way in sustainability to reduce unnecessary product waste and how the private sector continues to meet the goals of a sustainable future.
