Food Nation Visitor Center opens in Aarhus to strengthen food exports
Food Nations interactive showroom opens in Aarhus today in collaboration with Business Region Aarhus. The Visitor Centre presents the Danish food and agriculture sector’s strongholds throughout the value chain for international companies and stakeholders.
Denmark is a leading food nation on an international scale and delegations from near and far have long visited us. Since the opening of Food Nation Visitor Centre in Copenhagen in 2018, more than 2,317 people from more than 29 countries, has explored how Danish solutions and products from the entire value chain contribute to counter the global challenges of the future.
“By opening a Visitor Centre in Aarhus, we can invite even more international stakeholders to meet Danish companies and welcome them to the story of a strong Danish food nation”, says Torben Ladegaard, the Chairmann of Food Nation.
The Visitor Centre is located in Agro Food Park in Aarhus and will give you an interactive experience carried out by a combination of guided storytelling about solutions and products from the Danish food cluster in a informative and inspiring way. The official opening on August 28th will be marked with speeches from i.a. Minister of Finance, Nicolai Wammen, Chairman of Food Nation, Torben Ladegaard, Chairman of Business Region Aarhus and Mayor of Hedensted Municipality, Kasper Glyngø, and CEO of Arla, Peder Tuborgh.
