Denmark Ranks First in IMD Competitiveness Ranking
Denmark takes first place in the global Institute for Management Development (IMD) Competitiveness ranking, making the nation attractive for businesses. For the second year in a row , the Danish position on IMD Competitiveness ranking underlines the strong position as a serious business partner.
Following a global assessment of factors including economic performance, government efficiency and business efficiency, Denmark ranks number one, as the most competitive economy. Across 256 indicators, Denmark scored an overall high performance in openness and social frameworks, followed by Ireland and Switzerland.
The IMD Ranking 2023
The following ranking represents the level of competitive economies around the world. Unlike the other nations, Denmark has kept its position since 2022. The top 10 countries for 2023 include:

A Dynamic Society
Although Denmark has high tax rates, Danish companies gain the advantage of experiencing political stability, highly trained labor, high salaries and great infrastructure. This makes Denmark an attractive nation for businesses.
