Danish export to reach highest record
The Danish Agriculture and Food Council expects export from the Danish food cluster to rise with an impressive 6 bn. DKK (950 mn USD) in 2017 compared to last year – the forecast expects a total of 163 bn. DKK (25.7 bn. USD) in 2017.
The growth is favorable in many of the export markets, both in terms of established and in the relatively new markets. Prices are generally on a good high level, especially in the biggest product groups – e.g. pig, milk, fish and shellfish. The prices are expected to be relatively high throughout the year.
