Koreans consume the most seafood and fish amongst all nationalities with 58.4kg per capita, according to the FAO. As more consumers are looking for high-quality and high-safety fish products, Korea wants to grow more fish on their own with advanced aquaculture technologies, especially known as RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System). The government has designated Smart Aquaculture Clusters in five different cities.
The Danish Embassy in Korea is jointly hosting the webinar in collaboration with Food Nation and Gangwon provincial municipality to discover the development and future plan for the aquaculture.
