From 27-29 October 2026, FoodTech opens the doors at MCH Messecenter Herning in Denmark. As Northern Europe’s destination for exploring new food technology, the event brings together the food industry to explore product news, inspiration, knowledge, and networking across the value chain.
Why is FoodTech worth a visit?
FoodTech is where the food industry meets to explore the future of food technology. Visitors can discover new solutions, meet suppliers and partners, strengthen their professional network, and gain insight into the technologies, trends and collaborations shaping tomorrow’s food production.
27 pct. of visitors found new suppliers or business partners at FoodTech 2024, while 95 pct. would recommend FoodTech to others. Looking ahead, 70 pct. expected to visit FoodTech again in 2026.
Explore solutions shaping the future of food production
FoodTech 2026 includes a wide range of focus areas, including food processing, food packaging, hygiene and food safety, ingredients and additives, IT and data, water and energy, food life science, research institutes, and professional organisations. New initiatives such as the packaging area and the startup concept provide further inspiration across the food value chain. Visitors can also attend conferences, networking activities, talks, and live demonstrations, with several sessions held in English.
For example, at the Food Life Science area, visitors can experience live demonstrations and join conversations about the future of food with experts, startups, and industry professionals. The EHEDG seminars in hall M offer visitors the opportunity to meet hygienic design experts, and gain practical insights into hygiene, risk management and training.
In the Water & Energy area, visitors can gain expert insights into practical solutions for energy efficiency and reduced water consumption in the food production. The Danish Export Association stand J7190 is also located in this area, offering insights into market opportunities, export challenges, and relevant contacts. Visitors can also explore Food Nation materials showcasing Danish strongholds in the innovative, sustainable and efficient food production.
