Join Circular City Week in New York from the 16-22 of March 2020 – a week organised by the Danish Cleantech Hub. The aim of the week is to inspire industry professionals across sectors, showcase international pioneers and engage students to be the future of circularity.
Circular City Week is an open collaborative festival for circular economy related events. Circular City Week will take place in New York for the second time in March 2020. Events and activities, hosted by an array of local and global stakeholders, would normally take place all over New York City, but now a lot of the events are moving online. Keep updated in the event calendar to find virtual events to participate.
Circular economy is a global mega trend, with the potential to transform industries and redesign urban living. The transformative potential of a circularity is not specific to a single sector but can be linked to everything and here the food sector has big potential. Activities during Circular City Week will emphasize how circular practices such as reuse, recycling, and upcycling are transforming urban industries.
The initiator of Circular City Week New York is Danish Cleantech Hub, which was founded by State of Green and Confederation of Danish Industry. Denmark is a pioneer country when it comes to circular economy which sparked the initiative. Meet speakers from Denmark and all over the world presenting circular solutions.
