One Health Conference 2025

The One Health Conference brings together leaders from across Europe to address some of the most pressing health challenges of our time, recognising the interconnection between the health of people, animals and plants.

Over two days in Copenhagen, government officials from EU Member States, representatives from non-EU countries, and other key stakeholders will engage in high-level discussions on interdisciplinary solutions and best practices for combating antibiotic resistance (AMR), epidemics, pandemics, zoonoses, and ensuring food safety and security. Food Nation is engaged in this conference because our food system is fundamentally connected to public health — from preventing disease through safe production and nutrition to protecting the environment that sustains life.

A unique moment under Denmark’s EU Presidency

From 1 July to 31 December 2025, Denmark holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union under the motto “A strong Europe in a changing world”. The Presidency focuses on building a secure, competitive, and green Europe. The One Health Conference forms part of this ambition, advancing cross-border cooperation and action at the interface between human, animal, and environmental health.

Collaboration for resilient health systems

Addressing global health threats requires breaking down silos between sectors and borders. The One Health approach recognises the interconnectedness of people, animals, plants, and their shared environment. By linking policymakers, scientists, and practitioners, the conference aims to strengthen capacity for prevention, preparedness, and coordinated response—ensuring that solutions move from vision to implementation.

Join the conversation

Organised by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration and the WHO Regional Office for Europe, the conference will offer plenary sessions, expert panels, and interactive exchanges. Participants will share case studies, identify opportunities for joint action, and explore policy pathways to safeguard health and food systems for the future.

The event is by-invitation only.
