New York Climate Week 2025
A Danish delegation will take part in this year’s Climate Week NYC to engage in high-level dialogue and highlight Denmark’s contributions to climate action and green transition.
Held from 21–28 September 2025, the event is once again organised in partnership with the United Nations General Assembly and in coordination with the UN and the City of New York.
This year’s theme: Power On
Despite growing investments in clean energy and net zero solutions, the world continues to face rising temperatures and biodiversity loss. Climate Week NYC gathers global leaders from business, government, science, and civil society to drive momentum and inspire urgent action.
Agri-food in the spotlight
Agriculture and food systems will once again play a central role, with topics such as regenerative farming, climate-smart diets, Indigenous land management, sustainable supply chains, food loss and waste, carbon sequestration, and healthy soils on the agenda.
Opportunities to engage with Danish stakeholders
Throughout the week, Danish actors within food and agriculture will present scalable solutions and explore opportunities for international collaboration. Activities will showcase how Danish innovation and public-private partnerships contribute to the green transition in global agri-food systems.
