Paris Olympics 2024: Meet the chefs driving Danish and French gastronomic excellence

How are new products and solutions changing in French and Danish high-end gastronomy?

Join a breakfast talk with the Danish Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, Mr. Morten Bødskov, French and Danish top-chefs Paul Marcon and Brian Mark Hansen, director Flemming Nør-Pedersen from the Danish Agriculture and Food Council and Wonderful Copenhagen CEO, Mikkel Aarø-Hansen, moderated by French editor and journalist David Barroux.

The panel will discuss how French and Danish high-end gastronomy are changing to adapt new products and solutions. With an increased focus on taste, organic and low emission food, high-end gastronomy can impact the food production of the future and is shaping food products and value chains for everyone in the two countries.

At this talk, the development for both consumers of high-end culinary experiences and for everyone else is discussed. A light breakfast menu, designed by Paul Marcon and Sebastian Holberg Svensgaard will be served.

The talk will take place at a unique long table designed by BRIQ Architects inside a contemporary installation made for the purpose by VisitDenmark. There will be installations highlighting the Danish products and solutions and the Danish value chain of companies that enable the high level of gastronomic excellence that Denmark is known for – and which trickles down and results in better food for more people – including in Denmark’s export destinations.

Audience: The talk is open to journalists (both consumer and business media), influencers, the Bocuse d’Or organization, business organizations, business forums as well as local and international politicians

Registration: Please send an email to jerc@foodnationdenmark.dk with your name and title, to register for the event.
