Danish AgTech delegation to North Carolina
Building on last year’s Climate Week and the agreed Memorandum of Understanding between the Danish Technological Institute and North Carolina State University, a Danish delegation now marks the next step in turning shared ambitions within biosolutions and agricultural technology into concrete collaboration.
From 20–24 April, a diverse Danish delegation, jointly organised by the Danish Trade Council in North America and the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, will engage with one of the leading agricultural technology hubs in the United States, the Research Triangle region. The delegation counts following Danish companies:
Alfa Laval
AlleloBio
Ammongas
Collaborome
FOSS
Novonesis
The Danish Technological Institute
The programme includes
• A deep dive into North Carolina’s agri-food and life sciences ecosystem at First Flight Venture Center
• Pitch sessions and direct engagement with industry partners at NC Plant Sciences Initiative
• Curated site visits and B2B meetings with leading companies and agricultural producers
Denmark’s agri-food sector is globally recognised for its cross-sector approach and strong innovation ecosystem. With a dedicated focus on biosolutions, biotechnology, and climate-smart production, the delegation will showcase how Danish solutions can support the green transition of food systems.
At the same time, North Carolina offers unique opportunities, particularly for start-ups, through a strong research environment and a well-established network across agriculture and food production.
By connecting Danish strengths with North Carolinian priorities, the ambition is clear: to build long-term partnerships and create tangible business opportunities in a key international market.
